fixed gas detection

A fixed gas detector is a professional, continuously operating device permanently installed in industrial environments to monitor the presence of hazardous gases, such as flammable, toxic, or oxygen-deficient gases. The main types of gas sensors include:

Infrared (IR) Sensors
IR sensors detect gases by measuring the amount of infrared light absorbed by the target gas. These sensors are commonly used in industrial gas monitoring and are suitable for detecting methane and a wide range of hydrocarbons.

Catalytic Sensors
Catalytic sensors oxidize flammable gases and convert the resulting temperature change into an electrical signal. They are typically used for detecting flammable gases such as methane, propane, and hydrogen.

Electrochemical Sensors
Electrochemical sensors measure the concentration of a target gas through oxidation or reduction reactions, producing an electrical current proportional to the gas level. These sensors are ideal for detecting toxic gases, such as H₂S, or monitoring oxygen levels (O₂).

Aria Safe’s fixed gas detectors include GasEye and GasEye Plus, both of which are capable of detecting various gases using the technologies described above.
